Pregnant...

I've had so many mixed feelings. Don't think the wrong thing - I am so excited about having a child! I can't wait until I'm holding that beautiful baby in my arms. And I know that these past 3 months and the next 6 will be worth it all in the end. But, right now, it's pretty depressing. I've been feeling so sick and incredibly tired. I work all day, come home and have a 2 hour nap, make supper and either rush to rehearsal or just "relax" at home. Finally, this past week I actually had 2 nights in a row when I didn't feel nauseous before bed. Then, there's the belly...

Yep, I know what you're thinking. How can she be so big at only 3 months? At least, that's what I think every day. Sure, I've heard of people who were my size at this time too. But, most people I know didn't even start showing until 5 or 6 months. Bottom line - I feel fat. Not beautiful or glowing or the best I've ever felt. Just fat and unattractive. There's a reason I didn't show my face in the pi. I have zits all over my face (be glad you didn't have to see that). It makes me feel like I'm in High school again. Mind you, I did start using this amazing stuff for them - it really works! Okay, enough. Some of you asked how I feel (plus I really can't think of much else to write) so there you go. Bet you wish you hadn't asked now! I'm excited and totally looking forward to being a Mom! And... I feel like crap.

I'm sorry that you've got the pregnancy blues. I remember getting those zits...just when you thought you got past puberty! I think pregnant tummies are cute...it's the only time you can have a big tummy, and be able to show it off! Everyone progresses at different rates..some people don't show until almost the end, other people show in their first or second month. I'll be praying that you'll be feeling better soon

Oh Ali Kat, You are totally feeling EXACTLY how I felt in each one of my pregnancies. People who would say that they never felt better than when they were pregnant would just drive me nuts! I felt horrible...the whole time. And to top off the horrible physical feeling, I then had the guilt of feeling that way and listening to everyone else talk about how they 'glowed'. Everyone's hormones are different and it sounds like we have similar ones. When it's all over, you will be so glad you did the belly pictures...trust me. I didn't do any in my first 2 prenancies and regretted it so badly and finally I did some with my final pregnancy just so I would not regret it and I am glad I did. It's completely NORMAL to feel this way while your body is going thru something so awesome. Hang in there and I find that it helps me to document my feelings and thoughts. And don't feel bad for not feeling like you 'glow'...I didn't either!!
