Grapes

I'm not a huge fan of grapes. I like the green ones a little, but not the red ones. But, my favorite are Concord grapes. MMMmmmmmm ... YUMMY! I know my pics aren't nearly as great as some peoples, but I try, and every once in a while I get a really good one (of course, I don't have them on my computer to prove it).

The problem with buying these grapes is that they're a little pricey and you have to buy a huge basket of them. With only two people in our family right now, it's hard to eat that many grapes before they go bad. So, some are still sitting in the fruit bowl and starting to shrivel up. This is not fun to watch, but if I eat too many I'll get the runs. Okay, too much info, I'll leave it at that!!

mmmm grapes! I love grapes as well... See I love ALL grapes. But, my love for concord grapes is different than the love I have for the red or green grapes. To me they fall in different catagories... Hm... And - I have a problem of eating too many - not by choice to prevent them from going bad - I just can't help myself... then - stomach pain - oh well... I wish I had grapes now!!!! - By the way, thanks for photography compliment! :)

You're just full of ideas Mojo. Although, I don't know if it would work for these grapes as I don't eat the peel on them. I'll try it with some others next time I have too many. BTW - I had a nice glass of iced tea with iced tea cubes this morning! Woo hoo!!

Hey, I think you did pretty good on that picture, and wow, thanks for the some peoples comment there too. I am falling in love with my camera!

I have never tried concord grapes. I must do that now. I have to say that I am a sold out red grape fan and not much of a green grape fan.

Yep, just natures laxative!

I am really liking all of you Canadians, wish we could all meet, I think we would have lots of fun!

Another idea, if you buy too many or have to buy alot, you can dehydrate them and make raisins.

Hey, ask the Schnee (semic70) if HE has 'ever' dehydrated grapes? As his wife would say, 'babe, you're a dork'. Really he is pretty cool, but who has time to dehydrate grapes?

James, My hubby (Andrrrreeewww) says the skin's the best part too.

Amos, You're right, it's too time consuming. Although I'm hardly working and have no kids, I still would say I don't want to spend my time on that!

James, LOL! No, my husband is far from Scottish. He's just silly :)

James,

Actually, I changed it because I was told once that "goof" in prison means a child molester. I wasn't sure if you are an ex con (just kidding)! Actually, I wasn't sure if it was more commonly known in England, so I just thought I'd be safe!
