Just imagine this is me... for the next 3 weeks (hopefully less). If you can't guess why, I'll tell. Baby is NOT head down. I'm thirty six and a half weeks and baby is being stubborn. Last time I went to the doctor, baby was head down, so I guess it's been moving a lot. Wondering why I'm writing about it? I'm asking for your thoughts and prayers. Pray that my uterus will open up and loosen so that baby will get into position. The pic I posted (since I didn't think anyone wanted to actually see me in that position) is the one my Obstetrician told me to be in lots in the next little while. Hope you get a good laugh out of it :D Thanks in advance for your support!

It will all work out my dear. God is in control. Sometimes baby doesn't come down until you are actually in labor. But the end result is the same. A beautiful baby born into this world. Don't stress yourself about it, just enjoy the last few weeks with baby inside. That time is so precious. You definitely have my prayers for a peaceful time.
WE will also keep you in our prayers, and pray that baby gets in the correct position. And, yeah - perhaps the drawing was a better idea than a real picture... well, I guess that depends on the angle of the picture! hehehe - Don't worry at all Alison, Amos is right - God is in control, and everything will work out just fine :)
I'll definately be praying for you and the baby and a completely awesome time in that labor and delivery room. Your precious little baby will get into correct position and will deliver perfectly in Jesus name. I'll be thinking about you these next few weeks! :0)
Will do. Thanks for keeping us updated.
Yep I'll be thinking and praying for you Ali Kat.
One of our kids was the same (I can't remember which one) quite late in the pregnancy and Laundry Fairy was starting to get scared about the birth pain (after having had a few already) and had convinced herself that as the baby would not move then she should have a caesarian. In fact she was quite looking forward to it as she would be completely out of it.
But the male senior consultant came down and had other ideas. He said "the baby has got to move" and began quite brutally kneading and pressing my wife's stomach with his FIST! We were quite shocked it was horrible to watch and Laundry Fairy began crying. She was hooked up and the baby's heartbeat was showing signs of distress.
But the baby did indeed begin to move away from the pressure and the consultant forced it into a normal position.
He said "There! I have done you and your baby a favour. Now you don't need a dangerous operation." And that was the first and last time we ever saw him.
Laundry Fairy felt really abused but I guess the consultant was proved right. The baby was born healthy and normal.
Just thought you might like to hear that story. Good luck
I just want you to know that I check your blog every single day for a new post... :0)
Thinking about you everyday AliKat!
